2009 has been a year of change, trials and tribulations for HWR, but from that has come enormous success.

The band's debut album Surviving September has thus far delivered two hugely successful singles, the first being "Beautiful Way", released to radio in February of this year. Gaining the unprecedented support of 5FM and its listening public, the single remained at number one on the Hi5@5 for an astonishing 9 weeks.

HWR's subsequent performance on Live@5 saw the band in front of a record breaking studio attendance.
